Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud & AI Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure while building and deploying scalable AI/ML models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud engineering, AI/ML development, and DevOps automation, with a passion for solving real-world business problems using modern technologies.
Core Responsibilities
🌐 Cloud Engineering & Infrastructure
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud environments on Azure.
- Set up and manage virtual machines, databases, storage, and hybrid/multi-cloud solutions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.
- Implement IAM, encryption, firewalls, and compliance controls (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Monitor and optimize performance, cost, and usage with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Cost Management.
🤖 AI/ML Engineering
- Build and deploy scalable AI/ML models for NLP, computer vision, and Generative AI use cases.
- Preprocess and manage structured/unstructured datasets; develop optimized data pipelines.
- Implement MLOps practices for training, deployment, and monitoring using MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Stay updated with cutting-edge AI frameworks and tools (LangChain, RAG, LLMs).
⚙️ DevOps & Automation
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines for cloud and AI workloads.
- Manage containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Automate deployment, scaling, and system monitoring to ensure high availability.
🤝 Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and product managers to integrate AI solutions into business applications.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong programming in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy).
- Expertise in Azure Cloud services (VMs, Storage, Networking, IAM, Security).
- Hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible).
- Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts: supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, NLP, GenAI.
- Proficiency with MLOps tools (MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes) and vector databases.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR) and cloud security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
