DevOps Engineer

Location: Offshore (Remote / India)

Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer with 0–2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD practices. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on modern cloud-native environments and gain hands-on experience with scalable systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
  • Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate provisioning.
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, release, and deployment processes.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Participate in improving DevOps best practices and automation standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic to intermediate experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Hands-on knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
  • Basic understanding of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools.
  • Knowledge of networking and security fundamentals.
  • Experience with configuration management tools is an added advantage.

 

American Shift Requirements:

  • This role requires availability for night shifts as needed to support global teams and ensure system maintenance during off-peak hours.
  • Flexible to work during us time to support customers
  • Flexibility in working hours and the ability to adapt to varying schedules is essential.
