Role Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to support ongoing Boomi API Development and integration projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle EBS functional and technical domains, along with hands-on expertise in API, integration, and end-to-end testing. This role requires close offshore coordination, ensuring quality delivery across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing across Oracle EBS and Boomi integration workflows
- Validate and test API integrations using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, or similar
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing
- Work closely with development and business teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Execute test cases, document defects, and track resolution using Jira
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Standups, Retrospectives)
- Ensure data validation through Oracle database queries and backend validation
- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating QA processes into automated workflows
- Coordinate effectively between onshore and offshore teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing
- Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS modules:
- Order Management (OM)
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Finance
- Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Solid understanding of Oracle EBS technical aspects:
- Base tables
- SQL queries and joins
- Hands-on experience in API and Integration Testing
- Proficiency in tools such as:
- Postman
- SoapUI
- JMeter (for performance testing)
- Strong understanding of JSON and XML data structures
- Good knowledge of Oracle Database
- Experience with Jira and Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and workflows
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience in Test Automation frameworks
- Exposure to Boomi (Dell Boomi) integrations
- Prior experience working in distributed/onshore-offshore delivery models
